7 Great Lies Controversy: And Why You 'May' Want to Care About It

On last night's Conference Call I had mentioned I'd post a link to the 7 Great Lies Controversy article.

I suspect that some people may wonder why this is an important topic to be involved with? Your time is valuable - why waste it thinking about silly controversies?

The reason is that you are a marketer... you want to form balanced opinions (understanding both sides of a controversy) on hot topics within your target market. If network marketing has nothing to do with your target market than you can leave this alone, but you should still be looking for (and following) hot topics in your industry.

If you are using what we're teaching to work with network marketers, I suggest reviewing and following this 'hot topic' on The 7 Great Lies Ann Sieg Controversy... and consider sharing how you feel about it. It's definitely THE hot topic of the industry right now.

Why?

You want to be able to incorporate 'new issues' and other people's points-of-view into your marketing. And if asked by a prospect about an issue you want to have a balanced and well-informed perspective so you respond wisely.

You may not want to spend hours on these kinds of things (I don't suggest that you do)-- but you should invest at least an hour or so per month on going into forums, or searching on Digg, Hub Pages, Face Book, Squidoo or elsewhere for key words in your market so you can find out what's going on.
