Create Internet Marketing Content that Links Your MLM Company to Your Internet Marketing Coaching...
Did you know that there are people searching for an upline in your company?
And they're not just looking for just any upline, they're looking for someone to join who knows something about Internet attraction marketing.
If you started setting anything up at all from the Professional tutorials, you most likely have a jump start that they will want to learn from.
How do I know there are people searching for Internet attraction guides for specific companies?
I've been getting quite a few emails from people asking if I could refer them to someone who is at the Renegade Professional level and in a particular MLM company.
They are usually people who already know they want to join a particular company but haven't signed up yet. They tell me they'd like to join someone who is in Marketing Merge and who started using Internet attraction marketing.
I don't refer them to anyone because these people were already referred to Marketing Merge or the University by a guide who wouldn't appreciate me sending their prospects elsewhere.
However, they often go to Google or Yahoo and search for Renegade University and (company X). Or, Marketing Merge and (Company X).
Will you come up?
If you're very far through the tutorials, at least to Phase II, you already know how you could come up.
These are the best most targeted leads already eager to sign up with your company.
And what this tells me is that there are people looking for Internet Network Marketing coaching WITHIN a particular network marketing company even outside of the search for The Renegade and (Network Marketing Company X).
If I were you I'd be creating squidoo and hubpages (as well as blog or web pages) targeting key words like:
Internet Network Marketing and (Your Company Name Here).
or...
Internet Network Marketing Coaching and (Your Company Here).
and...
Renegade University and (Your Company Name Here).
and...
Marketing Merge and (Your Company Here).
and...
The Renegade Network Marketer and (Your Company Here).
You get the point.
Now you don't have to create several different pages although you could.
One options is to create one page that would share a little about the new model of marketing and how people in X company who are seeking guidance will find useful information at your page. Give useful tips for people in company X (your company or others) and at the bottom have a message that if they're seeking a guide to contact you.
Then create lots of incoming links to that one page (with variations of what people might be typing in)... like 'Company X and Internet Marketing' and 'Company X and Renegade University' -- and so on.
People who are looking to join a specific company who want an upline who is involved with Marketing Merge and/or Internet network marketing will find you.
(Hey, if you're new to Marketing Merge training, just go through your step by step tutorials and this will all make sense soon).
And a note to everyone: we'll be covering this in webinars and I'll be giving you tons of training on things like this going forward. It will all become simple to you if you work hard and let your imagination wander at the same time.

At Digg someone posted this message which I thought opens up a conversation on this that could be very helpful.

Here's my response to shed more light on how to properly create content to attract prospects looking for an upline in a particular company who knows Internet network marketing or who wants a Marketing Merge guide who is building in a specific company:
Hi. Yes, this would be content (like a Squidoo or Hub Page for example) that is still generic in many respects. When done right it can also be at your blog because it won't be pitching your company.
You wouldn't sell or highlight the pros of your company. The people landing there would already be sold on your company.
You'd be simply sharing how they can use Internet attraction marketing to build it.
This strategy is not about pitching your opportunity at all... It's more about ranking on the search engines with that company name without selling the opportunity in the content...
Instead, you're offering value to those reading it who are looking for the right upline to join and who may or may not already know they will benefit by finding an upline who can teach them Internet attraction marketing.
It would read in such a way that they wouldn't necessary know that YOU are with that company.
Sort of like we could find many articles by journalists and analysts on the net about things like:
"How to find your soul mate using Match.com" -- the person writing that may not even be with Match.com
or...
"How to make a ton of money betting the stock market with Google" -- the person may not be with Google at all... but just offering advice and will come up on search engines with Google typed in with related key words.
or...
"How to take care of your Mercedes"-- the writer may not be associated with Mercedes at all.
or...
"Winning with (MLM company name): How to Find the Best Internet Network Marketing Upline in ((MLM Company Name) so you can Win Big."
It is not obvious you are with that company but you're attracting people looking for an upline in that company who will be attracted to find out more about you.
Mike, This is a great tip. I hadn't thought of this as a way to market my opportunity and Marketing Merge. Thanks.
Thanks for the tip Mike, I appreciate your letting us know about that idea. One idea can change a whole paradigm.

Thanks for the tip Mike. I will certainly do that. I'm always on the lookout for some new way to attract others and this one is relevant and easy to do. Regards Rod
Great tip. I had thought about it but I had in the back of my mind in an earlier tutorial you had suggested to keep the opportunity seperate.
Will get to it.Before I go to Europe for a month!!Hope to join the Guides after that!!
Hi Mike!
Most mlm "leaders" are familiar with Internet attraction marketing, they just do not know how to "label" it. In fact, just "Google" in the name of any mlm company and look to the adwords ads. Click on a few and look at some(not all) of the landing pages. Many are trying to "brand" themselves. I suspect that individuals trying to find leaders with a company who know how to market on the Internet, will seek out somebody who advertises in Adwords. Your suggestions for actively seeking these individuals out is very sharp and in tune with your usual acumen.
Mike,
Good tip, but what about a MLM company that doesn't allow the associates to use their name on the web for compliance reasons. Any ideas?
Thanks and God bless,
Jerry
Can't wait to get going.
Maybe I've missed something here but I would like to see your answer to Jerry's question.
Thanks.
Jerry,
If your company doesn't allow you to use the company name, product names or images (mine is one of them) you can use the industry name like "sports drinks" or "green power" or what ever.
Just research the most popular of these generic key words and go with them. It's what I've done on my SBI site and gotten my traffic up to over 200 unique visitors a day.
At first it may seem like a draw back but in the long run I think it's a benefit because if you find yourself changing companies, for what ever reason, you don't have to undo/redo all your websites. Just find a company or product you are willing to endorse and change the links to reflect your partnership with the new company.
Hope this helps a little. If you'd like to chat specifics I'd be happy to show ya in more detail just drop me a line.

Boy, there's so much to say on this topic.
It's a very good question and I'm glad you brought it up.
I'll just run through some things and let you sort of merge creativity with value and your desired outcome to see if you come up with a solution that works for you.
First, understand that many companies have a double standard, unfortunately... they set up their policies unintentionally, but none-the-less, that penalize the people who play by the rules and rewards those who like to bend the rules.
Companies protect themselves by putting out a blanket statement like 'you can't use our names in your marketing period.' Then you do a Google search and see high profile leaders breaking the rules all over the place.
If you see this when you type in your company name... then do it. It means the company protects itself legally from associates making stilly claims but doesn't enforce anything and looks the other way unless you create a fuss.
You could get reported to the company (along with hundreds of others who use the name)... but most companies have a long process of warnings and such before you receive any penalty.
This is all stuff to consider... I'm not suggesting you break the rules. I'm suggesting you look at what your company says with its enforcement on others and make a decision. IF you type you company name in and tons of other people’s stuff comes up, it probably means you can do it too. But again, this is your choice and I’m not emphasizing that anyone do it. I'm emphasizing to look at the entire picture and situation and make a decision based on that.
I have had many run ins with my MLM on this issue. It usually was a case of 'do what you want just don't create a fuss'... if too many people complain about you we have to do something. It was never a big deal. But I have to admit it was frustrating for me because I had a large audience so I always created a fuss eventually... I'd eventually have to modify something I was doing in my marketing while other high profile leaders that didn't have such a large internet audience got away with.
Anyway...
There are other options.
You can hire someone to write content for you who is not associated with your company.
Or, you can probably write it and give it to someone to post who is not associated with your company.
If you're creating a value based content and not a sales letter it starts to become an issue of free speech. I'm not saying to haul or network marketing company to the Supreme Court with picketers shouting 'First Amendment'... but I'm saying if you focus the article on being more newsworthy than a down right sales letter it probably won't draw any flack.
I shared this entire issue with Ann Sieg the other day. She believes that the courts are holding up the Free Speech more than they are the trademark infringement if the content is value based. She has a very good attorney that works on these issues and her feeling is that if you create value based content it's 100% OK to use company names when it's news oriented or value oriented.
It's hard to say where the line is crossed in marketing. You have to ultimately make that decision and use some creativity to get the benefits without causing alarm.
