Marketing Merge Updates - Email Sent May 6th to Professionals
If you're new to 'Professional' at Marketing Merge, welcome.
Our suggestion to you is to keep things simple.
Follow the tutorials step-by-step as they've been placed in front of you in your Professional back office.
Remember, you're creating a life-long rewarding position on the Internet that will continually allow you to attract prospects and customers to you for any business you choose to pursue.
Like anything valuable this takes work.
But it's not an overstatement to say this process will change your life if you see it through.
Changes and Updates at Marketing Merge and the University...
1. Over the next couple days we're upgrading the University so that you can show off your 'Internet content' to your prospects as they enter your University system.
You'll be able to add links to your articles, Squidoo lens, blog, web site, video and other content at the left side margin on each page at the University, bringing the system to life.
This is going to help you in at least two ways.
First, it shows your prospects you're a leader with value to offer them. It further builds the relationship and shows them that you lead by doing. That will help to attract business partners who are seeking guidance.
Second, it pushes more traffic into the content you're creating, which improves search engine rankings and gives you more exposure, which generates a growing number of leads (as we've discussed in the tutorials).
So over the next few days prepare to choose your favorite Ezine article, Hub Page, Squidoo Lens, Video and Blog or Web Site to place into your University.
You may want to do some refining to improve what you've done. You'll want to show your best work.
I'll soon have a Webinar going over how I'm using this new feature at the University and will give you some tips as well.
2. We have made some recent changes to the University that make it more streamlined, simpler for newbies, and that highlight you even more as the guide. You can view these changes, and more that will be added over the next few days, by logging into your professional back office and clicking on the 'Go Back to School' icon.
3. One of the changes we made was removing the link to the Marketing Merge Network Blog.
We'll make this blog more generic before referring anyone to it again.
I'd like the Marketing Merge Network blog to be 100% for the support of the community and not in any way promoting me personally. We'll let you know when it's ready.
4. We are still working on the Marketing Merge Mastermind course plan. We will be making an announcement as soon as this is ready. The Mastermind will allow groups to work together and to receive personal attention to help improve their marketing strategy.
5. For those of you following the video marketing course, the video tutorial is posted in the Professional training area on how to get a camera if you need one. We'll start a consistent schedule for the video marketing courses later this month and will then be having them nearly each week for some time.
6. The next Email Marketing class is on Thursday. We'll post the registration link (and email it) on Wednesday. It will be held at 6:30 pm PDT on Thursday. Remember, we're not just covering how to use I-contact to set up your own auto-email campaigns.
We're also going to teach what content to put into your emails to prospects so you are providing the kind of value that attracts them to your offers (your opportunity or products).
If you haven't seen the recorded Email marketing tutorials you'll find them in your Professional back office by clicking on Attraction Marketing, then Marketing Tutorials. It's on the right side of that page.
In Summary...
There is a lot going on I realize.
What is important is to go at your own pace, step by step, following the courses in the order they are presented to you. Do this until you have things down well enough to know how to pick and choose what you're excited to learn about next. Always consult with your guide if you need help.

It doesn't take long to have your initial web of content created.
Once you're at this point, you focus on your links and anchor text (ad described in Phase II).
You use social book marking properly... as discussed in the tutorials.
Most important, you create new content (lots of it)... or you hire someone else to do it as we've shared... to bring traffic to older content you have. You keep building things up and out UNTIL you get the desired result.
If you're at this point in the process, this will be the focus of the next tutorials in Phase II.
Again, if you're new... start from the beginning. It won't be long you'll be right here following every detail of what we've discussed today. It's a process like anything else. But it's one that pays indefinitely if you see it through.
