Any Renegade Professional can apply to become a Super Guide when an opportunity like this comes up. We will be reviewing 100 new applicants who want to join.
We'll be sending instructions on how to apply (no cost) next week. There will be ENORMOUS advantages to you if you become a Super-Guide, particularly as we ramp up for a massive launch of Renegade Professional this Spring. If you're looking for a boost and are ready to work hard to move up quickly in business, please pay really close attention right now.
The last time we allowed new members to join was in the Fall of 2008.
We have to grow the Super Guides program "in stages" because we work closely with you to help you develop your business. It requires a tremendous amount of time and money for us to support the Super-Guides, so we have to make sure we only allow those who are committed long-term to their business.
I'd like to prepare you for this...
It's tough to get in. Out of 100 who applied in the first round last Fall, about 35 made it in, and only 25 have remained in 'lead rotation' (I share my leads with them, including Professional upgrades, e-book sales, etc because they contribute to our marketing as well). It's easier to become a Super Guide than it is to remain a Super-Guide in lead rotation; however, there are big advantages regardless of the level you strive for.
Benefits of Being a Super-Guide...
1. Get huge ongoing exposure as we help brand you throughout our content network
2. Have the opportunity to be a paid coach for us, where we give you the clients who will pay for your help
3. Incredible support from the other members--a place to come and get questions answered and learn from others.
4. Access to our highly specialized 'training' held just for Super-Guides Once you become a Super-Guide you are always a Super-Guide for as long as you remain a Professional member.
So if you apply and qualify, and later decide to 'drop out' of the responsibilities of a Super Guide, you still get exposure and access to the training and 'networking'--and you can always join us again at any time you're ready to contribute again (to get back into lead rotation).
We are getting ready to launch our coaching platform, where we will direct members to coaches who are qualified to teach on particular topics. If you have something you can teach and you'd like to be paid to coach others on a topic, apply to become a Super Guide.
If you don't have a clue what you could teach but all of this sounds really good to you... we would also like you to apply because if you're committed to your business we can assist you to develop your leadership, confidence and skills in the Super Guides program.
Some people have expressed concerns that we feature the Super Guides at MarketingMerge.com and I totally understood that concern. Super Guides have an advantage in our community to 'stand out' and attract relationships and business.
But so far, everyone who expressed this initial concern agreed that the Super Guides program is a great move... once we explained why we put this together and how it benefits the entire community (that includes YOU)...

...Because on the Internet you can never actually own a lead. You can't control who people will run into and what lists they get on. Trying to control where people end up won't work.
People have access to other marketers they will run into all throughout the net, the social sites, the lead capture pages, the YouTube videos, etc.
So the key to success is not to 'try to own' your leads because they will end up on many people's lists anyway. In light of this reality, the Super-Guides program is all about giving you a platform to rise up, be that leader others are seeking. That is what attraction marketing is and we would like to facilitate your ability to succeed in every way possible... thus, the Super Guides program was born.

To All Potential Super Guides (to those of you that apply and really want this in a BIG way):
I remember going through the application process, getting all my content prepared with appropriate links and bookmarks, etc. etc. It is a process, but I saw the opportunity and wanted it badly.
That was last fall, and what a difference it meant for me and my business. Motivating myself and staying focused to follow-through with becoming a Super Guide, to date, has had the single biggest effect on my business.
We're a supportive group. I will personally help you achieve this goal of becoming a super guide. In fact, I know of 24 other super guides who'd be just as willing to assist you in this pursuit. You just have to ask for that assistance.
In fact, some super guide members are currently banding together to provide a supportive and nurturing platform for YOU, the potential and aspiring super guide as we speak.

Even if you are just curious to see what coaching is all about or what Super Guides can be - keep your eyes peeled for the email.
For those of you thinking - how can I possibly take on something MORE? If the task looks overwhelming, break it down into bite-size pieces - think of the ROI (return on investment) - the time you invest now will lay a solid foundation that will help your business become strong and financially sound for years to come.
And, as Eric has said, you won't be alone. To become a Super Guide is to join a community of unselfish leaders who are more than willing to share what they have learned.

After being in a MLM for years which sounds curiously like one that Mike K. had been in. I jumped on the opportunity of being part of Marketing Merge after reading Ann Sieg's e-book. I have been working hard every day to learn and do what is taught in the tutorials.
I used to hear people in my upline always saying that they were "fired up" about the business but I never felt it.
After only being a university professional since Jan. 09 Each time I learn something new step by step and immediately am able to implement it. I truely feel "FIRED UP" inside like I never had. I want to promote this process so much that I feel it will be easy to do because I am actually doing it.

For those that are new to Professional, time will be of the essence... in order to qualify as a Super Guide you will have needed to get through many of the foundational training in the social marketing area (squidoo, ezinearticles, hubpages, blog).
If you want to go for it, I'd suggest really buckling down over the next week if possible. Those that really go for it will get in.... but if you just can't devote that much time and you're new to all this, and becoming a Super Guide is a goal of yours, I'd still encourage you to be engaged as it will only move you forward to try.
Those of you who have been with us a while shouldn't have any challenge whatsoever qualifying if you are interested in becoming a Super Guide.

I am so glad you brought this around again. I wanted to get in for the last round but I missed it by a few weeks. Really looking forward to it and hoping I will qualify.
Well ~ I'm a relative newbie with RU having joined in January but I'm so excited about this whole approach I'm getting up at 3.30am to put in 4 hours a day before going to work.
I mght not be in a position just now to be a SuperGuide but I'm willing to step up and give it a shot. I'm sure I'll learn a lot in the process even if not accepted.

Mike, I read your comments above about getting through the 'foundational training' in social marketing. Although I'm relatively new to Renegade Professional, I am determined to go forward and this narrows my area of immediate focus. The opportunity to become a Super Guide is now another of my goals ,as I love coaching, sharing with others and helping others to succeed together. It may be now or in the future...but I'd definitely like to apply so that I'll know the criteria.

It's great to see that the Super Guides program is re-opening. I was a relative new-comer to RU-Pro when the first one released and the concept definitely interested me. I have really enjoyed and benefited both from the resources at RU-Pro and by getting to know and interact with many of my fellow students.

The super guides are a supportive and helpful group. Remember... You will not be walking this path alone. Those of us who have gone before have only blazed the trail making it that much easier for you all to run past us…
To that end a new Video Distribution and Social Networking System has been put into place for the Super Guides to use.
We now have a Marketing Merge MySpace Page and a Marketing Merge Fan Page on Facebook. These resources are designed to promote Marketing Merge and to showcase Super Guides.

The training platform Eric mentioned as well as these sites and systems have been set up by Super Guides FOR Super Guides! It’s up to us to make them successful.

I'm definitely excited about the opportunity to be a super guide the renegade professional is where I had my "ah-ha" moment and everything began to fall into place for me. I loved going through the professional videos so much that when I would do something like wash the dishes or wash my dog I would crank up the sounds on my computer and listen to the videos and go back and watch them for a double dose.

Hi EVERYONE! Was just getting ready to move forward on this and thought I would see if there were new comments. Wow, 29 comments :-) Fantastic. I read each one and am eager to see each and everyone one of you as Super Guides. It is some work but if you stick around you'll be amazed at how much you get back.
I'm going to get with Barbara Silva and Didi Alcheva (who help facilitate a lot of this) and even see if we can bring in some help from established Super Guides to help us facilitate this process. It's a lot of work reviewing the applications (we have to make sure you've done the basic work to be a Super Guide). Of course some of you stand out right away as exceeding that requirement but all in all bring on board new Super Guides is a big task so it's just a matter of deciding how many applications we can review this time around.
I'll figure that out today and have the email with instructions for you by Friday. You'll have to act fast -- so check in at this blog on Friday if you don't see the email in the morning.

I listened to your webinar last night and it was some of the very best information i have ever received. Your explantion on how to use Twitter was great. A lot of people talk about giving value but you do it.
I have been a professional member for about six months and I have learned a lot but i have also gotten side tracked with other things that just take up time.

I'm brand new to RU and ready to take up the challenge of becoming a Supe guide. I have Ann Sieg on my MP3 player to learn while on the road. I've cut my sleep time from 8 hours to 5 hours to have more time to listen and do the tutorials. I have a speaker piped into my bedroom so I go to sleep listening to the training.
I have a decent job at the local newspaper but have determined that this is the year to become full time in my own business. I am learning so much. I've been a trainer with Veretekk for quite a while and truly enjoy the activity. So I'll be applying maximum to be ready to sign up then the email comes.
I am also new to Attraction Marketing and extremely excited about the possibilities.
Hope to not miss it this time Mike. The last time you offered it I had just signed as a member and had 3 businesses to maintain and coach. However, over this first year, your training has helped me to free up more time and so I believe I can be of some benefit to still others.

It is really, really wonderful that the Super Guides and Marketing Merge is growing the way that it is. I have to say that when I first decided to do online business in '07, I was clueless and bombarded. I'm one of these people who has to read things twice sometimes in order to get it. The Professional videos were done so well that it was very easy to understand, and by "doing" the action steps I was able to understand many of the underlying layers of online marketing.
If anyone is on the fence trying to decide if you can do this and if you should apply to the Super Guides, I say go for it. Be ready to buckle down and work, and you can count on allot of support from Mike and current Super Guides to help you on your journey. I believe you will experience allot of personal growth and a new level of understanding as it relates to Attraction Marketing.

I would encourage anyone who is hesitating about joining the Super Guides program is just go for it! As one of the first of 4 guides in this program, I didn't even know what a keyword or anchor text was!
Even if you don't qualify for this round you will be so much further down the road than if you carry on solo. There is much to be said for setting a goal with a dead line attached.
The Super-Guides are a very friendly bunch and we are all here to help you.

I think I have found what I am looking for. I want to be a guide and help people but got discouraged a few months back but now I am back and want to try and make a go of this again.
I have some articles out there but couldn't find anyone who would look at them or give me encourgement to continue. I had to leave Renegade Professional for a while but I will be upgrading by the end of the month.
In the mean time, I want to get things set up with a super guide to discuss my next plan of attack.
In the past, I have excelled and made money for other companies. It's now my turn and with the super guide's help, I believe I can excel in attraction marketing as well.
