Twitter is great! Since I started actively joining the conversation on Twitter last month my list has gone from a few hundred non active people to about 1,200 active, engaged friends. At this time my list grows by about 12 per day. I know I’ve had folks join my list (exactly how many unfortunately I don’t know. Need to work on better tracking) from Twitter because they’ve told me how much they like my site which can only be accessed by joining my list. Also, folks tell me how much they like my name and my welcome message. It’s important say something snappy to get folks to remember you in the FLOOD of tweets that go out daily. Sneaky I know but if you want to know what I send out you'll have to join me on Twitter at www.Twitter.com/TheRatRaceRebel ;)

The lions share of my leads (newsletter and Rec-Room sign ups) come from my blog Network-Marketing-News.com The trick is to have a carrot to catch their interest and to make it painfully easy (yet not seem pushy) for your visitors to take an action. I do this by having a sign-up form above the fold on each page where I offer them Free Internet Marketing Training in exchange for their contact info as well as links at the bottom of each entry. Also, a dedicated sign up page located in a prominent position on the top nav-bar. I don’t have exact figures of where each lead comes from (a drawback for sure) but I’d say at least 200 of the folks on my current mailing list have come from this blog.

I don't have any data on YouTube. At this point I use YouTube to get people to my blog or other sign up pages. Need to establish better tracking for this. Are you seeing a theme here that I need to address? LOL.

Hi all

I have had a blog for a year now but last month I decided to go full on with directing people to my blog rather than often directly to my opportunity. (Big shift as you know!)

I have earned small consistent commissions from Magnetic Sponsoring for quite some time but other than a dinkyl Google PPC ad I didn't promote it much.

Since I added more widgets to my blog and increased my blog posts last month I earned approx $1000 in commissions from MS alone.

I know it's my blog because I haven't changed anything else, and my PPC ad only cost me the same as usual which is approx $50 per month. (I have a long way to go to work out how to accurately track all this stuff but the results are looking good so far!)

Now I've integrated my Magnetic Sponsoring links into Renegade University and am working through the training as fast as I can to enable to me pull all my content together more effectively, so watch this space for more exciting developments!

My Blog is called the Professional Networker and can be found here: http://www.RachelHenke.com

Many thanks for all the great resources you guys provide at RU

How about a social networking site like BetterNetworker?

I posted this article http://www.betternetworker.com/articles/view/renegade-professional-the-failure-rate-no-one-talks-about

And to date it has received over 1100 reads. It was also sent out to the BetterNetworker mailing list by "Jason Better."

Best yet, it yielded 2 professional sign ups, 6 course takers and 1 coaching customer. One article!

It remains on BetterNetworker's main page for "Popular This Week" and has been there for nearly three weeks. Tremendous exposure.

Currently, it has been alternating between the last spot on page one and top spot of page two for the Google search "Renegade Professional."
