Quick Business Altering SEO Tip - LInks Strategy for Searching Engine Optimization

Those who have started creating content with Web 2.0 or a website know something about the importance of creating incoming links to your web site.

I wanted to give you a big tip about building links.  Google and the search indexing algorithms put much more preference in 'deep linking.'

This means that most of your links should go to your pages within your website, rather than just to you home page.

For example, if 90% of your incoming links to your site go to your main address, like http://www.marketingmerge.com it won't have nearly the impact as if 50% (or better) of your incoming links go to pages within your site, like in this example, http://www.marketingmerge.com/network_marketing  and http://www.marketingmerge.com/Internet_Network_Marketing for example.

Keep building incoming links to your site.  But when you do it, make sure you're not just linking to your home page.  You'll get a lot more out of your efforts and Google will rank you higher on their index.
